Zappa i centimeter

Det er blevet fredag, og det betyder, at jeg må blogge igen. Og at jeg igen må skrive om Frank Zappa. Jeg skal nok forsøge at holde det - zappariet - en smule under kontrol, men jeg lover ikke noget. I løbet af relativ kort tid har jeg nu fået indkøbt så mange af Zappas CDer, at det ville - for sådan er jeg - være helt utåleligt for mig, hvis jeg ikke også fik erhvervet mig resten. Og som en eller anden på et tidspunkt bemærkede: Jeg kan - jo - tilsyneladende ikke købe en éngangslighter til kr. 3,- i Netto uden at det partout skal nævnes herinde. I bloggen. Så I slipper nok ikke for at høre om Zappa-CDerne -- efterhånden som ... o.s.v.

En hurtig status: Min Zappa-CD-samling er nu 31 centimeter lang. Den fylder så meget:

Og følgende er bestilt, betalt og på vej - forhåbentlig - til Ringsted: "Lumpy Gravy", "Ahead of Their Time", "Apostrophe", "Thing Fish" og "Tinseltown Rebellion". Og "Trance-Fusion", som jeg tidligere har omtalt, men endnu ikke modtaget. De mere visuelt orienterede kan (måske) danne sig et overblik her, her og her. Har - yderligere - bestilt to bøger på biblioteket: "Electric Don Quixote" og "The Real Frank Zappa Book".

Og i den virkelige verden: Anne-Marie Vedsø Olesens nye roman, "Gudernes tusmørke", har fået en kanon-anmeldelse i JP. Læs den her.
